Wendela lives in Utrecht with her husband and two children. She graduated as a midwife in 2007 and as a sonographer in 2012. In 2023, she also started working as a lactation consultant IBCLC.

When she had to start thinking about her future career in high school, midwifery caught her attention. After attending an open day, she was convinced. Following her graduation, Wendela worked in various practices as a midwife, spending the majority of her career in a midwifery practice in Utrecht. Now, she is seeking more regularity in her life, and making ultrasounds fits well with this new phase.
